SBF Birmingham's 1st Birthday goes with a bang

Skipton Business Finance Birmingham's office celebrated their 1st birthday in fitting style last night, as a screening of the new James Bond film 'Skyfall' was enjoyed by 80 guests.

The night began with complimentary Martinis (shaken, not stirred!) and Champagne being served in the Manhattan Suite of the Broadway Casino.

Guests then made the short walk over to the Odeon Cinema for a private showing of the 23rd James Bond blockbuster, 50 years on from the release of the first film in the series, Dr No.

On the back of widespread critical acclaim, Skyfall delivered an epic and exhilarating 143 mins of espionage action to both guests and SBF staff alike.

We were delighted to hold the event in support of The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS), a service which delivers helicopter emergency medical care across the UK.

TAAS was officially launched in 2011 and is ran by an army of dedicated volunteers. It receives no funding through either government or National Lottery channels, as it relies on its ability to utilise mutual commercial friendships and partnerships to help ensure the service remains entirely patient focussed.

After the event, guests were especially complimentary of the night. Roger Street said: "It was extremely well organised and was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.", whilst Joy Lewis exclaimed: "Thank you for a wonderful night, it was a top event".

Also speaking on the night, Robin Peers, Regional Director said: "It was really positive to see such a great turnout and is a testament to how we've embedded our brand into Birmingham".
Robin continued: "Skipton Business Finance aspires to be a UK-leading financier in the invoice finance market and to maintain our position as a major, client-focussed organisation in the North of England and now the Midlands.
"We want to continue growing and developing our client-oriented business model, which we can only achieve by ensuring that our clients and business associates are delivered the best service in the industry", he concluded.
