Social – Community

At Skipton Business Finance, we are committed to supporting our community. This is done through ongoing support of community groups and charities. Our aim has always been to have a positive impact on clients, colleagues and communities through our charitable donations, colleague fundraising and volunteering.

How We Are Supporting Our Communities

  • Corporate Charity Partnerships – We are committed to not only supporting charities through donations, but also by sharing their important messages. This year, we have partnered with two extremely important charities, Children Today and WizeUp Financial Education. We are committed to supporting our Charity Partners by running various fundraising events and activities for our employees and clients to get involved in.

  • Volunteering & Fundraising Opportunities – All colleagues are entitled to three days of volunteering each year and access to our Matched Funding Scheme, in which we will match the amount of money a colleague raises for a fundraising activity.
  • Supporting Our Business Community – Our funding supports businesses throughout the UK, providing wealth and employment throughout the regions.

Communities Matter Scheme

Offering small grants of £250 for local community projects and good causes across the UK, our community support scheme will be open for applications to all not-for-profit organisations from Monday 3rd April 2023.

At Skipton Business Finance, we are committed to supporting local organisations and giving back to our communities. The Communities Matter Scheme gives these organisations the chance to receive a small grant to support their vision.

We have already supported many local organisations and projects in the past, including community teams such as Torpoint Athletic Youth FC, who were able to invest the money into team kits and equipment to further support the team’s learning experience.
