Budding entrepreneurs and small businesses have the chance to win a service charge and interest-free facility worth up to £150,000 in a competition launched this week by Skipton Business Finance.
Skipton Business Finance aims to encourage people to turn their business ideas into reality and existing firms to develop successfully by announcing a unique competition today whereby a local business can win a service charge and interest-free facility worth up to £150,000.
The UK’s leading invoice financier will award one prize of the free facility to a lucky business that is deemed the most ambitious in the Midland area.
Companies who pass the initial application and vetting process must prepare a pitch and submit their idea to the expert panel of independent judges who will select the winner.
The financier, who recently announced the opening of a new regional centre in Birmingham whilst pledging £25million of cash to support owner-managed businesses in the Midlands, say that the competition is designed to assist a young local business by enabling them to seize growth opportunities and enhance employment prospects.
Speaking from their new offices, Robin Peers, Regional Director, commented: “This is a great opportunity for a young, ambitious business in the Birmingham area to tell us their story, their plans and their ambitions and to win a service charge and interest-free facility worth up to £150,000 – no strings attached”.
Skipton Business Finance, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Skipton Group, has a history of creating wealth and jobs and is confident that they can change the future of the winning business with a lucrative prize.
Mr Peers concluded: “We have an extremely successful track record of helping local businesses raise finance and we remain committed to building our footprint further in this region which is why we’re delighted to be offering this competition to the Midlands business network.”
