Skipton Business Finance has announced Graham Bowie as Interim Finance Director. Graham has been part of the Skipton Group Group for just under ten years. During this time Graham has operated at the senior leadership level and gained experience across a number of areas, including Strategy & Planning, Stress Testing, Financial Control, Savings Decision Support, Procurement and Cost Management. Prior to joining the Skipton Building Society Group, Graham spent seven years at Grant Thornton, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant during this period. During his time at Grant Thornton, Graham predominantly operated within the audit and assurance function but also gained experience within Corporate Finance and Transaction Services.
As Interim Finance Director for Skipton Business Finance, Graham will be accountable for the smooth operation of the Finance function and will also be responsible for providing financial insights that can be used to support key commercial, operational and strategic decisions.
Speaking of his new role, Graham said: “I am looking forward to getting involved more closely with the business and being able to apply my past experiences to both the business and the role.”
