Hilltop Engineering and Tool Ltd is an engineering and manufacturing business based in Halesowen, West Midlands. They specialise in the design and manufacture of Press Tools, Metal Pressings, Welding, Fabrication, Machining and Engineering project management.
We spoke with Nigel Bishop, Managing Director of Hilltop Engineering and Tool Ltd, about his business’s experience with Skipton Business Finance. “ln June of this year, I responded to a timely marketing call from Skipton Business Finance. I was looking for additional funding for our business and was curious to see what they could offer me,”

We were set up and ready to go within a month.”
We were also happy to provide the business with the extra support and advice that was needed regarding the business’s bank account at the time. The business was looking to change accounts but were struggling to do so in a timely manner. “Ian came to our rescue again by recommending an internet-based bank. The bank account was opened on Saturday and the Skipton take-on team were in on Monday setting up our system and instructing our accounts department on its use,” “We drew money down the next day and have now enjoyed 3 months of trouble-free funding and smooth interaction with Skipton.”
