In these interviews, we literally put one of our employees under the spotlight and ask them a series of professional, and personal, questions. This time, it's Lucy Smith.

How old are you?29, 30 this year so hopefully my husband will have something extra special planned!What's your professional background?Apart from a few years working in a call centre when I first left school at 16, I have worked for the SBS group for the past 11 years within collections and repossessions. I moved to Skipton Business Finance in 2004.What do you do at SBF?Assistant Client Services ManagerWhat are your primary responsibilities? Assisting the management for the back office operations function based in head office at Skipton.What’s the best thing about your job?I do a job I love with challenges I relish and work with great bunch of colleagues, many of which I know will be friends for life.What was your childhood ambition?To travel the world. I have been to many different countries with many more on the list to go to.What are your hobbies?Cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, taxi driver... I don’t really get chance for hobbies looking after two little boys, a husband and a house. However I started kickboxing training last year and hope to be able to develop this.Favourite film? Any chick flick. I don’t have a very good attention span when it comes to films. I often infuriate my husband by asking what’s happened when halfway through a film!Favourite ice cream? Haagen-Dazs (Cookies & Cream)Favourite band / artist?I like listening to lots of different types of music and have just booked tickets to go see the Big Reunion Tour in May.Favourite food?Puddings - anything with chocolate in!Favourite colour?BlueFavourite cartoon?
