Two SBF Employees nominated for Top Student ABFA Awards

Skipton Business Finance is delighted to announce two of its employees have been nominated for industry awards, due to the outstanding results they obtained whilst completing Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA) qualifications.

Caroline Smith, Relationship Manager, has been nominated for the top student award in the Diploma Module of Financial Understanding, whilst Michael Beer, Graduate Trainee, is up for top student in the Foundation Course at the Awards Dinner being held in London in March.

The ABFA is a UK-based Trade Association which represents companies providing asset-based financial solutions to UK businesses, with its qualifications taken by employees across the industry.

Consequently, ABFA qualifications are sat by all of our staff, to ensure each and every team member is highly-trained and has expertise in all areas of asset finance.

Andrew Hill, Operations Director at SBF, expressed his delight at the achievement of the nominees, “This is a great result for the individuals and our company, and really shows what an excellent team we have on board”.

“The fact that not one but two of our staff are up for national awards reflects very positively on SBF as a whole”, he continued.

As a proud subsidiary of the Skipton Group, SBF strives to ensure all of their staff are industry qualified. This helps the company to excel in all areas of operation, from frontline sales to sales support, right the way up to its executive committee.
