‘Made in Britain’ logo revealed

After Tom and Helen (in the BBC’s The Apprentice) impressed fast food experts with their British-branded, pies-and-mash eatery, British products are receiving a further boost as the new ‘Made in Britain’ campaign revealed their logo.

After a nationwide competition was opened to all university design students to brand the scheme, here is the logo that you can expect to see on British-manufactured goods in the near future! It has been designed for use by UK manufacturers to show their goods which have been made inside our shores.

Cynthia Lee, from Nottingham University, came up trumps with her design, beating more than 100 other entries.

The idea to launch a campaign to promote British products has received lots of attention amongst MPs and manufacturing bodies up and down the UK. It has also been debated in the House of Commons.

UK manufacturers are now being requested to support the campaign and display this logo on their websites, marketing material or packaging – so people will know when they have chosen British. The image files can be requested from Stoves' website, and are available for use by all companies that manufacturer and produce their products and goods in the UK.

Why not give your British product that stamp of approval today!
